Born in Tasmania, I moved to Townsville with my family 2 years. We are now enjoying the relaxed lifestyle we found here and are planning on making this our long term home. I am a mother of 4 girls.
I have previously been involved with several committees including involvement in the Education Reform in Tasmania. I have been Secretary/Treasurer of Parents and Friends in several Tasmanian schools. Also a member of several School Councils.
I was lucky enough to be able to be a “Stay at home Mum” while my children were younger, only returning to full time employment 2 years ago.
When growing up I was involved in many sports, including netball, basketball, hockey, softball and later Judo. Representing Tasmania twice at a national level. I have also been involved with committees while my children have played sports, including coaching a children’s hockey team.
Interests include riding motor bike, working on computers, spending time with family and friends.
I have supported several charities over the years including being a collector for the Red Cross doorknock appeal.
I am a regular plasma donor.
